TEMPE, Ariz. – Arizona Swim and Dive delivered in all three sessions at the Big 12 West Championships. The women's team placed in the top three 18 times, and the men's team placed 18 times throughout both sessions

Friday, January 16th
Several swimmers and divers had an outstanding first day in Tempe. Zara Ayazi placed second in the women's 3-meter and helped secure a team diving win for the women in the second session. Kelsey Wasikowski had a standout swim in the 200 breast (2:10.95), securing her a win Friday afternoon.

The relay teams were consistent throughout the day, placing seven times. Riley Botton, Patricija Kondraskaite, Charlie Millard, and Julia Wozniak started the meet out strong with a win in the 200 free relay (1:28.76). Jake Hutchinson, Orion Henderson, Duncan Henderson, and Ralph Daleiden fought for a second-place finish in the 200-yard free as well.

Saturday, January 17th

The Wildcats brought the same energy into the final session of the Big 12 Championships. Arizona Swim placed top three in nine events, and Arizona Dive placed in three events.

Kayman Neal had an outstanding race in the 200 back, clearing the competition by a long shot and placing first (1:54.43). Luke Hernandez dominated in the 3-meter once again, scoring 369.30 and placing first.

Julia Wozniak had a new best time in the 100 free, placing second (48.36), and Haakon Naughton had another standout swim in the 200 fly (1:43.55). Alexandre Desangles also had another strong 200 back swim (1:41.93), placing second.
