Biography
2023-24: Pac-12 Championship relay finalist in the 800 free relay (4th place, 6:15.72, NCAA A cut)... Swam three personal bests at Pac-12 Championships in the 200 free (1:33.67; NCAA B cut), 200 fly (1:44.74; NCAA B cut) and 200 IM (1:43.81; NCAA B cut).
2022-23: Swam two personal bests and received NCAA B cuts in the 200 IM (1:46.74) and the 400 IM (3:51.19) at the Pac-12 Championships... Also swam two more personal bests at Pac 12’s in the 200 fly (1:46.72) and the 200 free (1:36.89).
Before Arizona: Attended Los Alamos High School in New Mexico... Lettered five years in swimming under coach Stu Corliss... 15 New Mexico State Records 500, 1000 free & amp; 1650 free... High school records: 200 free, 500 free 200 IM and 4X100 Freestyle relay 4X50 freestyle relay... NMAA state record 4X100 freestyle relay... Three-time USA Swimming Scholastic Team.
Personal: Orion Henderson, son of Kevin and Karen Henderson... One younger brother, Duncan... Mother, Karen, swam for the University of Notre Dame... Father, Kevin, swam for Stanford... Chose to attend Arizona because he has family close by and for its good engineering, and “excellent” swimming program.
