ATLANTA, Georgia – Arizona Men's Swimming and Diving opened competition at the Men's NCAA Championships on Wednesday at McAuley Aquatic Center.
The Wildcats were represented in the 200-medley relay to begin the meet, placing 25th overall with a time of 1:24.07.
Alexandre Desangles led off the relay with a 21.77 50 back split, followed by
Tavner Wisdom with a time of 23.57 in the 50 breast.
Jake Hutchinson had a 20.09 50 fly, with
Tomas Lukminas touching the wall at 18.64 in the 50 free.
Arizona will continue competition tomorrow, with several individual events and the 200-free relay.
Haakon Naughton will compete in the 100 fly, and
Tomas Lukminas in the 200 free. All three of Arizona's qualified divers will be competing in the 1-meter event (
Gage DuBois,
Bo Bridges, and
Luke Hernandez).
