BATON ROUGE, La. – No. 11 Arizona lost the second game of the series to No. 18 LSU, 3-1, to lose the series.

The Wildcats out-hit the Tigers 7 hits to 3 hits but could only bring across one run in the game.
Regan Shockey and
Jenna Sniffen both recorded three hits for Arizona.

LSU struck with two runs in the first inning. An RBI triple and a sacrifice fly gave the Tigers the early 2-0 lead.

After four scoreless middle innings, Arizona put a run on the board in the sixth to make it a 2-1 game.

The Tigers scored one run in the bottom of the sixth to extend their lead back to two runs on an RBI walk.

Jalen Adams picked up the loss in a complete-game three-hitter to fall to 16-6 on the season. She allowed three runs on three hits but walked three Tigers.
