Men's Golf in Second Place After Day One of Big 12 Championship

Arizona Men's Golf finishes day one of the Big 12 Championship in second place at 7-under par. They were 1-over par after round one then carded the second best round in the afternoon going 8-under par. Oklahoma St. currently leads at 14-under par.

Leading the way for the Wildcats through two rounds is Taishi Moto, who sits at 3-under overall after carding rounds of 68 and 69. Moto is currently in sixth place individually.

Zach Pollo has also been strong for the Wildcats, sitting at 2-under overall after a 2-under second round. Pollo has been steady across rounds today and sits in a tie for seventh.

William Wistrand made one of the biggest moves of the day, firing a 3-under second round to climb to 1-under overall and into a tie for 13th. His low round provided a key boost for the Wildcats in round two.

Filip Jakubcik is also at 1-under overall after posting a 2-under round in the afternoon. Tianyi Xiong rounded out the lineup at 5-over overall, carding a 72 in round two.

Arizona will tee off at 11:30am MST tomorrow for the third round.
