TUCSON, Ariz. — The Arizona Wildcats women's basketball program has been ranked No. 17 in the ESPN final 2026 recruiting class rankings, the top-ranked class in the Big 12, highlighting the first full recruiting class under head coach Becky Burke.
Arizona's class features a balanced group of guards and frontcourt players, highlighted by three ESPN Top 100 signees: No. 53 Arynn Finley, No. 62 Jasleen Green and No. 65 Makayla Presser-Palmer, along with three-star additions Priyanka Ponnam and Callie Hinder.
Finley, ranked as high as No. 48 nationally, comes from a powerhouse program at Etiwanda High School, where she helped lead the Eagles to three consecutive Open Division state championships, including a No. 1 national ranking her senior season. A First Team All-CIF selection, she is regarded as one of the most complete guards in the country.
Green, a four-star prospect, is a 2,000-point scorer and 2026 Gatorade Player of the Year who led her team to a state championship as a senior. A McDonald's All-American nominee and four-time county player of the year, she brings proven scoring ability and production at a high level.
Presser-Palmer, also a four-star recruit, finished her career as Erie County's all-time leading scorer with over 2,500 points and averaged more than 25 points per game. A two-time Erie County Player of the Year and First Team All-State selection, she combines elite scoring with rebounding and defensive impact.
Hinder, a three-star forward and the No. 2 player in the state of Arizona, led PHH Prep to a 2025 state championship and was named Arizona Defensive Player of the Year in back-to-back seasons. She also earned a silver medal representing Australia at the 2025 FIBA U19 World Cup.
Ponnam, a three-star post, is a McDonald's All-American nominee and three-time Mid-Atlantic Prep League champion. A 1,000-point scorer and 500-rebound performer, she brings consistency in the paint along with strong academic and leadership credentials.
The Wildcats will also add experienced talent through the transfer portal, including Aliyahna "Puff" Morris from University of California, Berkeley, Gerda Raulusaityte from University of Southern California and Breanna Williams from University of Maryland.
Arizona will pair its incoming class and transfers with key returners Molly Ladwig and returning starter Sumayah Sugapong.
