STILLWATER, Okla. - The University of Arizona baseball team dropped the second game of its road series against No. 21 Oklahoma State on Friday night at O'Brate Stadium, falling to the Cowbys 13-1.
Carson McEntire provided Arizona's offensive highlight with a solo home run for the Wildcats, who will look to bounce back in Saturday's regular-season finale.
Oklahoma State used an early offensive surge to take control of the contest and build a 5-0 lead in the first inning. McEntire responded with a solo shot in the top of the second; but, the Cowboys tacked on three more runs in the bottom half of the frame, as they went on to earn the victory over Arizona.
Arizona and Oklahoma State will close out the regular season at 10 a.m. (MST) on Saturday.
