Arizona Adds Kaylan Yoder to Pitching Staff

TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona Softball has announced that transfer Kaylan Yoder will join the 2027 roster.

Yoder, a right-handed pitcher, comes to Arizona following three years at Liberty where she maintained a 2.97 ERA, won 19 games, and struck out 207 batters during her career. She had a breakout freshman season, winning 11 games with 138 strikeouts and a 2.99 ERA. Yoder earned NFCA All-Mideast Region third team honors and All-CUSA first team accolades after leading Liberty to the CUSA Softball Championship final and an appearance in the NCAA Athens Regional in 2024.

In the 2025 season, Yoder was named to the All-CUSA second team with a 2.62 ERA, nine victories, and 80 strikeouts. She helped Liberty to the program's biggest win with a save in the seventh game of the NCAA Bryan-College Station Regional against No. 1 Texas A&M to send the Lady Flames to Super Regionals.

Yoder made just eight appearances in 2026 and has held opponents to a .217 batting average during her career.

Yoder will join transfers Madison Conley, Ryley Harrison, and Elizabeth Moffitt along with Arizona's signing class that includes incoming freshmen Madison Babasa, Lilly Hauser, Natalie Keith, Violet Mitchell, and Gabriela Nevarez in the fall.
