
Arizona Track & Field Ready for NCAA Outdoor Championships

EUGENE, Ore. – Arizona Track & Field sends a record 19 student-athletes to the NCAA Outdoor Championships at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore.
The Wildcats will have ten women and nine men competing in the 2025 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Eugene, Oregon. The action gets underway on Wednesday, June 10, and concludes on Saturday, June 13.
Arizona men's track and field begins competition with the 4x100m relay team of James Onanubosi, John Paredes, Parker Duskin, and Mason Lawyer at 5:05 p.m. MST on Wednesday, June 10. The team finished 8th at the NCAA West First Round with a time of 39.02, qualifying for the semifinals.
The remaining men's athletes will compete after the 4x100m relay team on Wednesday, with John Paredes opening competition in the 110m hurdles at 6:08 p.m. Mason Lawyer will take the track in the 100m at 6:25 p.m., and again at 7:29 p.m. for the 200m. Tyler Michelini will take flight in the men's shot put finals at 7:10 p.m. Sam Hala'Ufia and Antone Smith will begin competition on Friday, with Sam in the discus finals at 2:15 p.m., and Antone in the triple jump finals at 5:10 p.m.

The Arizona women's team begins championship competition on Thursday, June 12, with the 4x100m relay team of Brooke Lyons, McKenna Watson, Taylen Wise, and Hollan Powers, who will compete at 5:05 p.m. Taylen Wise will take the track again in the 100m hurdles at 6:08 p.m. Erin Tack will compete in the javelin finals at 6:15 p.m., and Sydnie Vanek will compete in the long jump finals at 6:40 p.m. Hollan Powers will start her events in the Heptathlon with the 100m hurdles at 11:45 a.m. on Friday. The trio of high jumpers will compete in the high jump finals on Saturday at 4:30 p.m., featuring Paris Mikinski, Kya Crooke, and Emma Gates.
