TUCSON, Ariz. — Arizona quarterback Noah Fifita has been selected as a nominee to the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team, the organization announced on Monday.

Fifita is one of 175 nominees who will be considered for one of the 22 spots on the 2026 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team that will be announced in September. The Allstate AFCA Good Works Team recognizes college football student-athletes who demonstrate exceptional commitment to community service, academics and athletics. The program honors players who use their platforms to strengthen their communities and support causes that are important to them.

In addition to his contributions on the field, Fifita has been an active member in the community through the First Down Faith Foundation, a faith-driven charity dedicated to honoring faith, family, and football while uplifting communities through service. As part of his foundation, Fifita has twice hosted the First Down Faith Football Camp, partnered with the Tohono O'odham Nation to put on the Generations of Faith & Strength Celebration, served at the Gospel Resue Mission, and much more.

Fifita and his foundation have poured an estimated 330-plus hours of volunteer work into the community while impacting an estimated 3,590 community members. Learn more about the First Down Faith Foundation here.

He has also excelled on the field and in the classroom during his time in Tucson. Fifita has thrown for 9,183 yards and 73 touchdowns during his career while also graduating with a BA in Psychology and working in a graduate program.

How is the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team selected?

The 2026 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team will be announced in September and include 22 student-athletes and one honorary head coach. One student-athlete will also be selected as team captain and receive the Allstate Wuerffel Trophy.
 
A selection panel composed of former Good Works Team members, college football coaches, journalists and other leaders connected to the award reviews nominations from across the country. Voters evaluate candidates based on the breadth and depth of their community service, demonstrated leadership, academic achievement and the measurable impact they have had on the people and causes they serve. The panel then selects 11 NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision players (FBS), 11 players from the NCAA Football Championship Subdivision (FCS), Divisions II, III and the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) ranks, and one honorary head coach.
