TUCSON, Ariz. – Junior outside hitter Carlie Cisneros has been named to the preseason All-Big 12 team, announced by the conference on Tuesday during Big 12 Volleyball Opening Set.
 
Last season, Cisneros led the Wildcats with 29 aces and was second on the team with 347 kills and 3.10 kills per set. She totaled 10 double-doubles and recorded 10 or more kills in 21 matches for the Wildcats during the 2025 season. Cisneros set a career high of 23 kills against Utah and recorded 20 digs in a pair of matches last season. The junior was named to the All-Big 12 second team in 2025 and helped lead the Cats to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2018.
 
Cisneros and the Wildcats will open the 2026 season with the annual Red-Blue Scrimmage on Saturday, August 15 at 2 p.m. MST in McKale Center at ALKEME Arena. Arizona will also host an exhibition against Grand Canyon on Wednesday, Aug. 19 at 5 p.m. MST in McKale Center before hosting the Wildcat Classic Aug. 28-30 to kick off the regular season.
