Prior to Arizona: Transferred to Arizona after two successful seasons at Iowa Western under head coach Alicia Williams … Helped lead the team to a runner up finish at JUCO nationals as a sophomore … Finished 17th in the nation in total digs last season … Named first-team all-region as well as academic all-region … A three-time player of the week … Totaled 972 digs, 49 aces and 194 assists in two seasons at Iowa Western … Prior to Iowa Western, attended Punahou School in Honolulu, Hawaii, where she played volleyball and basketball … Competed for Imi’ike in Honolulu under head coach Robyn Amo in club ball.
 
Personal: Born Feb. 27, 1998 to Ricky and Kalei Pua’a in American Samoa … Has one little brother (Koa) and two little sisters (Hina and Keiki) … Plans to major in communications … In her free time, enjoys going to the beach, eating and hanging out with her family … Chose Arizona over South Carolina, South Dakota State and Kent State “for its learning disability programs and to play at the highest level possible.”
