2018-19: Held the fourth-fastest Wildcat time in 100 Breast (53.91) which was also fast enough for an NCAA B cut...

High School: A four-time letterwinner in swimming and water polo…The 2017 and 2018 First Team MVP…Earned a bronze medal in the 100 fly and 100 breast at CIF Sections…Holds the school record in the 100 fly, 100 breast, 50 free, 200 and 400 free relay, and 200 medley relay...Graduated high school with over a 4.0 GPA.

Personal: Born Ty Joseph Wells in December 1999 to Joseph and Sandra Wells in Mountain View, Calif…Has a sister, Jessica…Enjoys watching TV, playing cards, and being with friends in his free time…Plans to major in Physiology to pursue a career in physical therapy or sports medicine to help others…chose Arizona over Indiana, California Baptist, UOP, and Utah because it is the “best all-around school, with a great campus, great team, great culture, and the BEST coaches.”
