2020 Tokyo Olympics: Member of the Israeli National Team...Qualified to compete in the 4x200m freestyle relay...Along with his relay teammates, led Israel to a 5th place finish in heat one of the preliminary rounds with a final time of 7:08.65...Bested Israel's previous record time in the 4x200 by over three seconds.

2020-21: Swam the sixth fastest time in school history in the 200 free with a time of 1:33.40…NCAA Qualifier in the 200 free…Held team’s fastest time in the 200 free with a time of 1:33.40, a personal best and an NCAA B cut…

2019-20: CSCAA All-American in the 200 free & 800 free relay events…NCAA Qualifier in the 200 & 500 free events… All-American HM 800 free relay.

2018-19: All-American Honorable Mention in the 800 free relay...Held the third-fastest Wildcat time this season in the 200 free (1:34.43) which was fast enough for an NCAA B cut.

Prior to Arizona: Finalist at the 2018 European Championships in Glasgow…Competed in the 2017 World Swimming Championships in Budapest and 2017 World Swimming Games in Taipei…Part of the Israeli National Team.

Personal: Born Daniel Namir in August of 1997 to Miloslav and Yulia in Netanya, Israel…Has a sister, Nicole…Enjoys Netflix in his free time…Plans to major in Computer Science…Chose Arizona because “it is a great school with a great swim team.”
