2018-19: Held the fastest Wildcat time in the 200 free with 1:44.17 which was fast enough to qualify for an NCAA B cut... Held the second fastest Wildcat time in the 500 free with 4:36.81 which was fast enough to qualify for an NCAA B cut... Held the second fastest Wildcat time in the 1650 free with 16:06.28 which was fast enough to qualify for an NCAA B cut...Part of the 400 Free Relay team with a time of 3:15.01 which was fast enough to qualify for an NCAA B cut... Part of the 800 Free Relay team with a time of 6:59.47 which was fast enough to qualify for an NCAA A cut... Finished in the top-5 17 times including one victory in the 200 free and two victories in the 500 free. 

2017-18: Holds the second-fastest time in Arizona school history in the 500 free with 4:35.04…Earned bronze at NCAA Championships in the 500 free to earn All-America honors…Holds the fifth-fastest 1,650 free time in school history with 16:03.13, also set at NCAA Championships…In the 200 free with 1:44.72, she now has the eighth-fastest time in Arizona school history…Earned All-American Honorable Mention in the 1,650 free and 800 free relay…Had the fastest time on the team in the 200 free, 500 free, and 1,650 free…Finished in the top-three ten times in the 500 free throughout the season, including two victories (NAU,NMSU, Rice and ASU)…Won the 200 free twice, against Texas and at ASU…Pac-12 All-Academic Second Team…CSCAA Scholar All-American.

2016-17: Had the fastest team time in the 200 freestyle with 1:45.59 (NCAA B cut)…Apart of the 800 free relay which qualified for an NCAA A cut at NCAA Championships…Placed in the top-three eight times, including a win in the 1,000 free at NAU/Hawaii (4:59.73)…Had the second-fastest times on the team in the 500 free, 1,000 free, and 1,650 free with 4:42.54, 9:51.46, and 16:12.38, respectively…A CSCAA Scholar All-American.

High School: A four-time letterwinner at Barrington High School in the freestyle…Named team MVP all four years…Made All-Conference and All-State each year…Four-time Illinois High School Association (IHSA) Academic All-American…Named IHSA Illinois Senior Swimmer of the Year…Won the 200 free and 500 free at Illinois State Championships…Holds school records in the 100 free, 200 free and 500 free…Ranked the No. 2 recruit out of Illinois by CollegeSwimming.com and the 29th overall.

Personal: Born Kirsten Patricia Jacobsen in January of 1998 in Cook County, Illinois to David and Patricia Jacobsen…Has one older sister, Anne…Planned major in Business Accounting…Likes to spend time with her puppy in her free time…Chose Arizona over Virginia and Indiana because “I liked the team and campus”.
