Personal: Born Jacqueline Day Purwins in February of 2000 to Tom and Colleen Purwins in Tucson, Ariz…Has a younger brother, Skyler…Was a gymnast for 14 years, including winning four letters in high school…Pursuing a degree in Physiology to become an orthopedic surgeon because she is fascinated with the human body and wants to help fix people…Asks “what free time?”…Chose Arizona over UC San Diego and San Diego State for the “amazing swim/dive program, team, and coaches, and it’s warm.”
