2021: Played in 11 games as Arizona’s primary holder.

2020: Saw time in four games on special teams in his first year at Arizona…Played in the first four games of the year and missed the Territorial Cup.

Before Arizona: Spent time with Pima Community College (2016) and Texas State University (2017) before joining the Wildcats…At Pima, averaged 37.4 yards on 13 punts and placed four punts inside the 20 yard line…Excelled in the classroom at Pima, earning NJCAA All-Academic Third Team honors…Did not play in one season at Texas State…Prepped at Cienega High School in Tucson and graduated in May 2016…Lettered three years in football as a kicker and punter and two years in track and field in shotput and discus…As a senior, went 7-for-8 on field goals with a long make of 45 yards, 25-for-25 on PATs, and averaged 37.6 yards per punt…Qualified for and participated in State Championships for track and field in 2015 and 2016…Graduated from Cienega with honors…
 
Personal: Jacob Nathaniel Meeker-Hacket…Son of Ed Hackett and Rachel Meeker, both Arizona graduates…Father, Ed, is a City of Tucson Fire Captain…Grandfather, Ed Hackett Sr., played on the offensive line for the San Francisco 49ers…Majoring in Animal Sciences…Chose Arizona because, “I have always dreamed of playing for the University of Arizona. I attended my first game as a two year old with paint on my face back in 2000. I am also a fourth-generation Wildcat.”
