FRESHMAN (2015-16)
iller played in 28 games during the 2016-16 season while averaging 3.6 points per game in 9.4 minutes per contest … Scored a season-high 16 points in 14 minutes of action against Howard (11/18) while shooting 5-7 from the field and 4-6 from downtown … Scored seven points and had two steals against Louisiana Tech (12/10) … Finished with seven points on 3-4 shooting against Gardner-Webb (12/21) … Scored five points against Oregon (1/31) … Followed that up with eight points against USC (2/5) … Shot 5-8 from the field against Stanford (2/12) and tallied 12 points … Scored seven points against California (2/14).

HIGH SCHOOL
Michal Miller gives Arizona fans plenty of reason to be excited heading into next season, as she averaged 24.7 points, 4.5 rebounds, 4.2 assists, and 2.6 steals per game her senior year at Michigan City High School. She managed to shoot just over 48 percent from the floor, 39 percent from three-point land, and 81 percent from the free throw line, while scoring a career-high 46 points in a game vs. West Side. She scored 24 of those points in the fourth quarter.

The accolades have racked up for Miller this season, as she was named “Girls Basketball Player of the Year” by three different publications in the Post-Tribune, Herald-Argus, and the News Dispatch. She also was named the Duneland Athletic Conference’s MVP and was a member of the Indiana All-Star Team. She also became just the second player from either the boys’ or girls’ program at Michigan City High School to be named to Indiana’s All-State Team.
