Biography

2016: Played in 10 games with nine starts behind center … Finished fourth in the Pac-12 with 94.4 rushing yards per game (only QB in top 10), which was also fifth-highest amongst all FBS quarterbacks … Averaged 7.21 yards per carry (131 attempts) to check in third-best in the Pac-12 and No. 19 overall for FBS rushers … Was the only Pac-12 quarterback to register multiple 100-yard rushing games (three total) … Ranked eighth in passing yards per game with 134.8 yards, while his 124.0 pass efficiency rating was seventh-best ... Checked in eighth in the league with 229.2 total offense yards per game … Competed for starting job in preseason camp with no true starter named entering season … First collegiate start came in second game against Grambling State (Sept. 10) when he guided UA to a comeback victory behind 320 yards of total offense and three touchdowns, including two of his own rushing …  Collected first career 100-yard rushing game when he totaled 118 yards and three scores on 15 carries in victory over Hawai’i (Sept. 17) … First Pac-12 start came against No. 9 Washington (Sept. 24) when he led a fourth quarter comeback to force overtime in eventual loss. 2015: Played in six games, showcasing true dual-threat abilities during his opportunities … Most significant action came as a backup against ASU (11/21). Completed 16 of 30 attempts for 301 yards and first two touchdown tosses, along with two interceptions. Also rushed 21 times for 78 net yards … Completed first two passes late against UCLA (9/26), going 2-of-2 for 15 yards … Also saw action late against Stanford (10/3), completing 2-of-5 attempts for 18 yards … Impressed with two rushes for 74 yards, including a 43-yard touchdown, in victory over NAU (9/19).
