Played and started in all 30 games for Arizona ... Averaged 7.1 points and made 48 three-pointers ... Reached the 200 career made three-pointer mark this season and finished her career with 203 ... Started off the season with 13 points and four assists against Iona (11/10) ... Followed that up with 14 points, six rebounds and four three-pointers at Utah State (11/17) ... Scored 13 points and pulled down six rebounds at NAU (12/7) ... Hit the game-winning shot vs. Southern Utah (12/20) in double overtime and finished the game with 18 points ... Had 12 points at Matt Knight Arena against Oregon ... Made five three-pointers en route to 16 points in a win vs. Colorado (1/19) ... Hit five of her seven shots against Arizona State (2/16) and finished with 13 points and four rebounds ... Made three three-pointers on senior day vs. Oregon (2/25) and scored 12 points.
BEFORE ARIZONA
Wright spent this past year in Boca Raton at Florida Atlantic on the sidelines as she took a medical redshirt after suffering a season-ending injury. During her junior year, she started in 30 games and was second on the team with 11.7 points and grabbed 4.6 rebounds per game, which was third on the team. The Woodland Hills, Calif. native also led the team with 87 made three-pointers and shot 40.1% from downtown, good for three made treys per game. On Jan. 30, 2016, the sharpshooter made a run at an NCAA record as she drained 11 three-pointers against Charlotte, which is the second-most made three-pointers in NCAA history. During her three-year career at Florida Atlantic, Wright played in 84 games and started in 71 of them. She averaged 7.4 points per game in those 84 games and made 145 three-pointers while shooting 34.5% from downtown.
HIGH SCHOOL
Wright played her high school ball at Notre Dame High School where she was named All-Conference three times in her career, once on the Second Team and two times on the First Team. She was the team’s captain and most valuable player during her sophomore, junior and senior seasons.
PERSONAL
She is the daughter of David and Givila Wright and has one older brother David and one younger brother, William. Wright plans on getting a Masters degree in Educational Leadership and would like to get into coaching after her playing career.
