2021: Started all 12 games of the season at center … Saw time at left tackle vs. Cal due to injuries on the offensive line … Was named honorable mention All-Pac-12 … Was Arizona’s highest graded offensive lineman per Pro Football Focus.

2020: Preseason Remington Trophy Watchlist member… Appeared in all five of Arizona’s games in the COVID-19-shortened season, anchoring the Wildcats offensive live from his center position… Helped pave the way for big rushing games by Wildcat backs that included 268 yards versus Colorado (12-5-2020) and 158 yards against USC (11-14-2020).

2019: Starting center in all 10 games he appeared in...Member of the Rimington Award Watch List...Helped Arizona gain 539 yards of total offense in season opener at Hawai’i (Aug. 24)...Helped guide the way for the Wildcats to rush for 431 yards and score 65 points in win over Northern Arizona (Sept. 7)...Helped pave the way for Arizona when it rushed for 314 yards and put up 499 yards of total offense in home win over Texas Tech (Sept. 14)...Started in back-to-back weeks where Arizona threw for 754 yards in wins over UCLA (Sept. 28) and Colorado (Oct. 5)...Started against Stanford (Oct. 26) when Arizona rushed for 222 yards on 37 carries...Started the finale at ASU (Nov. 30) and played all 70 plays after missing two previous games with injury...Presented with scholarship in team meeting prior to Spring Game on April 13.

2018: Walk-on started all 12 games at center for the Pac-12’s top rushing unit (202.4 ypg)…Helped Wildcats top the 200-yard rushing mark in half of their dozen contests, including a season-high 442 yards at Oregon State (Sept. 22)…Key presence in pass protection for UA, which allowed the third-fewest sacks in the conference (20).

2017: Earned playing time in three contests as a backup on the offensive line … First collegiate action came in season-opening victory over Northern Arizona (Sept. 2) … Also saw action against UTEP (Sept. 15) and Oregon State (Nov. 11).
 
2016: Redshirted.
 
High School: Football, basketball and track and field letterwinner at Red Mountain High School…Captain and Team MVP his senior season…First-team All-State, Division I…Finished in top 10 at state track and field meet in shot put and discus.
 
Personal: Son of Kraig and Anne McCauley…Has one brother, Sam, and one sister, Catie…Majored in Criminal Justice Studies...Currently a nondegree seeking graduate.
