Matt Grevers, Adam Small and Giles Smith all placed in the top eight in their respective events to qualify for finals at the Olympic trials on Saturday night.
2011-12: Earned a second-place finish in the 400 medley relay and a third-place finish in the 200 free relay versus No. 15 Iowa ...Posted two NCAA "B" cuts in the 200 free and the 100 fly at the Texas Invite...Recorded fourth-place finishes in the 200 medley relay and the 400 free relay versus No. 8 USC...Finished fourth in the 200 medley relay and the 200 free versus Wisconsin...Earned three fifth-place finishes in Arizona's season opener versus UNLV.
High School: Lettered for four years in swimming at Brophy College Prep....Was team captain for the 2011 season....team MVP 2009 and 2011....holds records for the 200 Freestyle, 400 Freestyle relay, and 200 IM relay at Brophy College Prep....State Champions all four years....National Private Schools Champions in 2011....Was also recruited by Texas and Michigan
