Who We Are

C.A.T.S. Clinical and Sport Psychology is a team of licensed mental health clinicians who provide mental health and mental performance services to University of Arizona student athletes.

Our comprehensive and holistic approach is intended to support student-athletes in their ability to excel athletically, academically and in their personal lives. Our philosophy focuses on creating environments that facilitate psychological safety and empowering individuals to take proactive measures to improve their performance and mental fortitude.

FAQs

Will my coaches or parents know I meet with Sport Psych?

Our services are confidential. Should you want your parents and/or coaches involved in your care, you can provide written consent.

Where do individual sessions take place?

Our offices are located in the Ginny L. Clements Academic Building on the second floor.

What if I see my provider on campus or at a practice?

You will see us at practices and games - we like watching you compete! But, you guide how we interact, and we always respect your privacy.

Can I meet with a specific clinician?

You can request to meet with a specific clinician on staff. If they are available to meet with you and it is an appropriate fit, we can support this request! If the provider is not available, we can work collaboratively to identify another provider on staff that will be a good fit.
