Jake Johnson completed his fifth season with Arizona Baseball in March 2020, and his second as a Graduate Manager. He previously served as a Student Manager. Johnson was brought on board by head coach Jay Johnson during his first season at Arizona in 2016.
Johnson’s responsibilities include oversight of the student manager staff accountable for video scouting, analysis, and on-field support. He also assists with team travel operations and logistics. In addition, he supports the staff with daily practice and game day preparation.
Johnson earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the Arizona Eller College of Management in Business Administration/Management in May 2018 and is on target to receive a Master of Science degree in Business/Marketing in May 2020.
Johnson was born and raised in Yorba Linda, CA and is seeking a career in business/sports management.
