Prepped at Nogales High School under head coach Oscar Favela…Lettered three years in baseball and also played junior varsity basketball…Made 25 career appearances on the mound, going 10-2 with a 2.54 ERA and 104 strikeouts…As a junior in 2018 was named first team All-Conference, All-Region, and All-State…Member of his high school Principal’s List and Honor Roll.
