Prepped at Maranatha Christian High School in California and lettered four years in baseball under head coach David Newhan, his father…Across 100 varsity games posted a .438 batting average with 122 runs scored, 110 RBI, 39 doubles, two triples, and 25 home runs…As a senior in 2023, hit .440 with 39 runs, 23 RBI, and 21 extra-base hits…Exploded onto the prep scene as a junior in 2022, hitting .522 with 52 runs, 52 RBI, 15 doubles, two triples, and 12 home runs…Participated in the 2021 Perfect Game Underclass All-American Games…2022 Perfect Game Preseason Underclass All-American and 2023 Preseason All-American…Earned All-Conference honors as a junior and senior…Holds Maranatha Christian HS single-season and career records for home runs…Also holds school career records for slugging percentage, hits, RBI, runs, doubles, and games played…Picked up single-season school records for batting average, OBP, SLG, OPS, hits, RBI, and runs…One of just 10 players to ever log a 60-hit season in San Diego County history…Excelled in the classroom, earning Honor Roll distinction all four years.
