Attended Casteel High School in Arizona and lettered four years in baseball under head coach Matt Denny…Awarded the Rawlings Gold Glove Award as an outfielder following his senior season; posted a flawless 1.000 fielding percentage on 38 total chances…Logged time in 90 varsity games and registered a .242 career batting average with 43 runs scored, 12 extra-base hits, and 39 RBI…As a junior, hit .321 with 15 runs, six extra-base hits, and 17 RBI.
