2019 Outdoor: Made three appearances … Won the 3000-meter race at the Desert Heat Classic after clocking a PR of 10:32.77.

2019 Indoor: Did not compete.

2018 XC: Competed in six contests ... Finished 16th at the George Kyte Classic with a time of 17:24.5 in the 2.6 mile race ... Clocked a time of 15:44.9 at the Dave Murray Invitational to finish 15th in the 4K event.

2018 Outdoor: Did not compete.

2018 Indoor: Did not compete.

2017 XC: Competed in five contests for the Cats ... Clocked a time of 15:51.00 in the Dave Murray Invitational to finish 19th in the 4K run.

2017 Outdoor: Competed in a pair of 3000-meter and 5000-meter events … Set a personal best mark of 10:34.53 at the Duel in the Desert.

2017 Indoor: Did not compete in the indoors season.

2016 (XC): Whetzel competed in five total meets during the 2016 cross country season and totaled three separate top-20 finishes. Whetzel’s best race came at the ASU Invitational where she took 15th-place overall. She would go on to take 98th-place at the Pac-12 Championships.

2016 Outdoor: Whetzel set two personal bests during her freshman year for both the 3,000-meter and 5,000-meter dash. At the Jim Click Shootout, she set her personal best placing fifth with a mark of 10:54.75 in the 3,000-meter event. Whetzel placed in the top-11 in both 5,000-meter races, setting a personal best at the ASU Invitational where she placed 11th with a mark of 18:30.62.

2016 Indoor: Whetzel competed in the mile event at the Lumberjack Team Challenge her freshman year. She placed 14th and marked 5:49.32.

High School: Graduate of Catalina Foothills High School ... Lettered four years in cross country and track and field ... Was Team MVP in cross country her sophomore and junior seasons ... Was Team MVP of track team her senior season ... All-Region all four years in cross country and All-State her freshman and junior seasons.

Personal: She is the daughter of Dale and Teresa Whetzel and has two brothers, Travis and Mike. She is pursuing a degree in engineering.
