Opened the year as a
NCBWA First-Team Preseason All-American...Played and started in all 15 of the Wildcats games...Hit .220 (13x59) with 12 runs scored, four doubles, three home runs, and 18 RBI...Led the team and ranked fifth in the Pac-12 in RBI...Paced the Wildcats with five multi-RBI performances and also logged three multi-hit games...Picked up a season-high three hits on opening night Feb. 14 vs. Albany (3x5, 1 R, 2 2B)...Drove in season-high four RBI in March 3 road victory at Texas (1x3, 1 R, HR, 4 RBI)...Made defensive starts at second base (6), third base (4), catcher (3), and left field (2).

Pac-12 All-Conference Honorable Mention...Named to the 2019 Buster Posey National Collegiate Catcher of the Year Award watch list...Played in 42 games, all starts, as a sophomore with the Wildcats...Hit .393 (66x168) with 46 runs scored, 10 doubles, four triples, four home runs, and 28 RBI...Batting average of .393 was the second-best mark on the team and the third-best mark in the Pac-12...Registered a .571 slugging percentage and a .480 on-base percentage, the latter of which was the fourth-best mark in the Pac-12...Notched a 20-game hit streak from March 25 - May 4, during which he hit .461 with 23 runs, eight doubles, two triples, two home runs, and eight RBI...Was one of just 19 Division I players to log a hit streak of at least 20 games...Last game of the year was May 4 against Oregon - missed the remainder of the season with a broken hand...Collected 21 multi-hit games and picked up multiple RBI eight times...Swatted a career-high four hits twice: March 31 at Arizona State (4x5, 2 R, RBI, 2 2B) and April 7 against Washington (4x4, 2 R, RBI)...Spent time on defense at catcher, first base, and outfield with a .989 fielding percentage in 283 chances.
