Biography

2022: Appeared in five games on special teams, serving as a kick/punt returner for much of the season… Returned one kick for 17 yards and three punts for five yards… Rushed two times out of the Wildcat for three yards... Finished collegiate career with 50 receptions for 711 total receiving yards and six touchdowns... Averaged 14.2 yards per catch and 22.2 yards per game over 32 games... Completed 7-of-16 pass attempts for 106 yards and two touchdowns. 

2021: Played in eight games and started vs. ASU in the last game of the season … Saw time at wide receiver and quarterback due to Arizona’s injuries at the quarterback position … Ran the ball 19 times for 67 yards and a touchdown … Completed four passes for 89 yards and a touchdown … Caught four passes for 48 yards … Had a 75-yard touchdown pass to Tayvian Cunningham vs. USC … Ran for a touchdown vs. Washington … Had 33 receiving yards and 28 rushing yards vs. ASU.

2020: Played in all five of Arizona’s games for the season, finishing with 12 catches for 111 yards and a touchdown… Opened the year with longest catch of the season with 34-yard touchdown grab versus USC (11-14-2020)… Caught season-high four passes at UCLA (11-28-2020)… Best performance in punt return duties came versus Colorado (12-5-2020), which he posted career-best return of 33 yards on his only return to go with his pair of kickoff returns for 33 yards.

2019: Made the transition from quarterback to receiver right before fall camp...Appeared in all 12 games for Arizona at receiver with three starts...Finished the season as the team leader in receiving yards with 552...Finished third on the team with 34 catches and led the squad with five receiving touchdowns...Showed immediate promise in season opener at Hawai’i (Aug. 24), recording four catches for 72 yards and a touchdown...Had three catches for 38 yards in home win over UCLA (Sept. 28)...Recorded four catches for 68 yards and had a 44-yard kickoff return at Colorado (Oct. 5)...Scored the second touchdown of his college career against Washington (Oct. 12), finishing with three catches for 55 yards and a touchdown...Scored again two weeks later at Stanford (Oct. 26), while recording two catches for 25 yards...Posted 51 receiving yards on three catches and added 24 punt return yards against Oregon State (Nov. 2)...Hauled in a 21-yard catch in final home game of the season against Utah (Nov. 23)...Posted his best game of the season in the finale against ASU (Nov. 30), catching seven passes for 140 yards and two touchdowns against the Sun Devils...His 140 yards against ASU were the most by an Arizona receiver since 2015 (Cayleb Jones).

2018: Saw limited action in two contests, but preserved redshirt while serving as No. 3 option at quarterback…Completed 3-of-4 pass attempts for 17 yards, while rushing five times for fives yards at Utah (Oct. 12)…Made collegiate debut with two rush attempts in win over California (Oct. 6).

High School: Graduated in 2018 from Cienega High School…Letterwinner in football and track and field…Competed in 100-meters, 110-meter hurdles and long jump in track and field…Three-time team captain…All-Southern Arizona…All-State, Division II…Three-time All-Conference selection…Member of the school honor roll with high honors…Holds school records for most passing yards, most overall yards and the school long jump mark…Guided his team to a 12-1 season as a senior and a spot in the state semifinals…Helped set the school record for wins in a season…Threw for 2,196 yards as a senior with 26 touchdowns to seven interceptions…Rushed for 1,399 yards and 18 touchdowns…Threw for 3,909 yards his final two seasons of high school.
