2018: Started all 11 games played while establishing career-highs for passing yards (2,530) and passing touchdowns (26)…Posted a pass efficiency rating of 149.77, which was the No. 23 mark in FBS, No. 2 in the Pac-12 and fifth-best in Arizona single-season history…Ranks No. 9 in school single-season history for passing yards (2,530) and No. 5 for passing touchdowns (26)…Totaled 2,754 total offense yards to post No. 10 season tally in program history…Twice passed for five touchdowns, including victories against Colorado (Nov. 2) and Southern Utah (Sept. 22). 2017: Played in 11 games, starting the final eight … Burst onto the scene of numerous national award watch lists with a spectacular month of October in which he became the first player in Pac-12 Conference history to win the offensive player of the week award four consecutive weeks … Rushed for 327 yards, establishing a new FBS rushing record for a quarterback against Colorado (Oct. 7) … Became the first Pac-12 quarterback to rush for 1,000 yards in a season, finishing with 1,411 yards, which ranks fourth in UA single-season history … The 128.3 rushing yards per game ranked seventh among all FBS players … Led the FBS in yards per rush average (9.22) and ranked second in FBS behind Baker Mayfield in total QBR (92.0) … Third nationally in total offense average (9.04 yds per play) … First player in program history to post three 200-yard rushing games in the same season … Ranked No. 10 nationally in average per pass attempt (8.9 yards) … Led all FBS players with five rushing plays of 70-plus yards, four of which were touchdowns … Averaged 47.7 yards on 12 rushing touchdowns, 28.6 yards on 14 passing touchdowns and 37.4 yards on all 26 touchdowns accounted for … Passed for 302 yards and five touchdowns – both career highs – against Purdue in the Foster Farms Bowl (Dec. 27. 2016: Played in seven games and made one start, becoming first UA true freshman to start at quarterback since Willie Tuitama (2005) … Entered season with intentions of redshirting, but was forced into early action due to injuries … Finished season with 237 rushing yards and one touchdown along with 243 passing yards and three scoring throws … Made collegiate debut as a reserve at UCLA (Oct. 1), completing 5-of-9 pass attempts for 72 yards and two touchdowns. Added 79 rushing yards on 15 total carries … Played a similar role the following week at No. 24 Utah, passing for 105 yards and a touchdown, while completing 5-of-8 attempts with one interception. Tallied 33 rushing yards on 10 carries … Made first collegiate start at age 17 against USC on Family Weekend (Oct. 15), totaling 58 passing yards and 72 rushing yards, while scoring first career rushing touchdown … Also saw limited action against Stanford (Oct. 29), at Washington State (Nov. 5), against Colorado (Nov. 12) and at Oregon State (Nov. 19).
