Lettered as a redshirt freshman in 2009 on the kicking units, latter half of the year as a middle blocker on kickoff returns ... Played in nine games, some at guard ... Made travel status for several games during his redshirt year in 2008 as an emergency option ... Earned UA Coaches' Scout Team Player of the Week nod for the Toledo game in 2008 ... Worked at various positions his first year.
