General:  Proved to be a hard worker from his first day in the program and has played his way into a key frontline reserve role ... Adds depth in the post with increasing productivity ... Tenacious on the glass and yet the most fun-loving guy on the squad ... Saw action in 30 games as a sophomore, including the first two starts of his career, and posted his first double-figure scoring effort vs. Wisconsin in the NCAA Tournament.
 
2005-06 (Sophomore):  Fourteen of his 30 appearances were 10 or more minutes ... Had two starts to his credit ... Collected three offensive rebounds in nine minutes vs. Villanova on 3/19 ... Set or equaled career highs with 4-of-4 FT shooting, 10 points and eight rebounds on 3/17 vs. Wisconsin in the NCAA Tournament, which was his first career double-figure game (3-of-3 FG as well) ... Played 10 minutes vs. UCLA on 3/10 ... Set then career highs of 3-of-6 FG shooting, six points and 25 minutes played on 3/9 vs. Stanford in the Pac-10 Tournament ... Grabbed three rebounds in 14 minutes vs. Washington on 3/4 ... Collected three boards and a steal on 3/2 vs. Washington State ... Played seven minutes vs. California in Pac-10 Tournament quarterfinals on 3/10 ... Grabbed a rebound in four minutes vs. Oregon State on 2/20 ... Played two minutes vs. Oregon on 2/17 ... Helped Crusaders to a 27-4 record as a senior and a berth in the state quarterfinals for coach Dan Ireland ... Garnered second-team all-state honors from the Associated Press in 2004 ... Led Loyola to a 32-0 record and its first state title as a junior ... A four-time all-conference and all-city selection ... Twice named to the Minnesota all-state tournament team ... In his four-year varsity career, Loyola posted a 101-18 (.849) record with four state tournament appearances ... Finished his high school career ranked No. 3 on the state of Minnesota’s all-time field goal percentage list (all classes) at 66.0 percent (713-of-1080) and No. 5 on the all-time rebounds list with 1,136 ... A linebacker/tight end on the LHS football team and threw the discus for the track and field team, earning a total of 12 varsity letters ... Collected multiple all-conference honors in football and track ... An academic all-state track selection and a member of the National Honor Society.
