Honors and Awards  

• 2022-23: CSC Academic All-District  
• 2021-22: CSCAA Scholar All-American 

2023-24: Pac-12 Championship finalist in the 100 BR (8th place, 52.56, NCAA B cut)... Two-time Pac-12 Championship relay finalist in the 200 medley relay (2nd place, 1:22.90, NCAA A cut, program record) and 400 medley relay (4th place, 3:05.80, NCAA B cut)... Swam a personal best at Pac-12's in the 200 IM (1:43.26; NCAA B cut).

2022-23: Swam two personal bests at Pac-12's in the 100 back (46.70; NCAA B cut) and the 200 IM (1:44.11; B cut)… Swam a personal best in the 100 free at the Minnesota Invitational (43.66; B cut)… Also swam a season best in the 200 back (1:44.12; B cut). 

2021-22: Personal best at the Pac-12 Championships in the 200 free (1:35.21; NCAA B cut)… Also swam a season best at Pac-12's in the 200 back (1:44.18; B cut)… Also swam a personal best at the 2021 Minnesota Invitational in the 50 back (22.13; B cut).

Before Arizona: Attended Glenbrook North High School in Northbrook, Illinois... Lettered four years in swimming under coach Jarod Schroeder... Two-time All-State senior year... Two-time All-America senior year... School record holder in the 100 back, 200 IM, 100 free, 500 free, and 200-medley relay and 400-free relay... Previously attended and swam for University of Iowa.

Personal: Ryan Purdy, son of Matt and Kelly Purdy, originally from Glenview, Illinois… Father, Matt, played football for Iowa... Has one sister Jordyn… Chose Arizona because “You go to Arizona if you want to swim fast.”
