Personal: Born Cynthia Esmeralda Pelayo in August of 1993 to Ugo and Bertha Pelayo … Has one brother Hulises (16) … In her free time, enjoys playing other sports, biking and being with family and friends … Plans to major in accounting or marketing in order to start her own business or work for a big company … Chose Arizona because, “it’s a great opportunity. I get to play for the best and most prestige coach in softball. It’s my hometown university.”
