High School: A four-year letterwinner at Mira Mesa High School under head coach Brad Griffith … Named all-state and first-team all-conference as a junior and a senior … Tied the home run record for San Diego District Division II with 41 in her career.    
 
Personal: Born Katiyana Kealamaikalani-oloaga Mauga in August of 1994 to Matthew and Kanani Mauga … Is undecided in her field of study at Arizona but desires to work in sports medicine … In her free time, enjoys listening to music, watching movies and hanging out with friends … Chose Arizona because of “the campus, the family atmosphere, the friendly people and to play for Mike Candrea.”
