Bart Jameson

Bart Jameson has been an Athletic Trainer at the University of Arizona Athletic Department since 2022. Prior to coming to Arizona, he spent three years as Director of Sports Medicine at Texas Southern University in Houston, Texas. He also served as Program Director for the athletic training education program, overseeing 50 undergraduate athletic training students and won the McCleary Teacher of the Year Award in 2021.

His primary coverage is Women's Basketball.

Jameson is a member of the National Athletic Training Association (NATA), BOC Certified Athletic Trainer, Licensed AT in Arizona and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.

He started his education as an athletic training student at Texas Tech University where he was the Athletic Training Student of the Year (2011) and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Sciences from Texas Tech University (2007). He continued to complete his Master of Athletic Training from the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center (2013).

Jameson comes to Arizona with an extensive background in NCAA and professional sports working in MLB for the Chicago White Sox and completing a season long internship in the NFL with the San Francsico 49ers.

Jameson is happily married to his wife, Kristina, and lives with their dog, Babs.
