Maddie Searle from Oreland, Penn., is in her first season as a graduate student manager for the Arizona women’s basketball program.
From 2013-2017, Searle was a student manager for the Penn State Lady Lions and transitioned to Assistant Director of Basketball Operations during the Summer of 2017. As a two-year head manager Searle’s main responsibilities included overseeing a team of 11 managers, assisting in the operations of practice and games, team travel, coordinating with visiting teams, and recruiting visits. In addition, Searle served as coordinator for Lady Lion basketball camps from 2014-2017.
Searle graduated from Penn State with a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies. Currently, she is working on a Master’s of Education in Educational Leadership at the University of Arizona. She is the daughter of Franny and Ed Searle and has two siblings, Jessie and Taylor.
