SOPHOMORE (2021-22): Everyday fixture in the starting lineup with 22 starts in 23 games played… Upped her scoring average from 3.9 points per game to 5.7 from freshman to sophomore season… Second on the team in rebounding with 4.2 rebounds per game… Grabbed third double-double of career, and first of the season, with 12 points and 11 rebounds in Senior Day win over USC… Set career high in scoring with 15 points with 9-of-10 shooting from free throw line versus Colorado in Pac-12 Tournament… Second on the team in blocks with 28 with career-high four blocks in win over Marist… Picked up three steals to match career high in Rutgers win… Missed six games due to a knee injury.
FRESHMAN (2020-21): Played in all 27 games … Second on the team in blocks and fourth on the team in rebounds … Had a double-double in her third career game vs. USC, scoring a season-high 12 points to go along with 12 rebounds … Had her second-career double-double vs. Idaho with 10 points and a career-high 13 rebounds, including eight offensive rebounds … Had 10 games with at least five rebounds … Blocked a shot in 21 of Arizona’s27 games and had three blocks twice … Invited to the USA U19 World Cup Team Trials
HIGH SCHOOL: Ware, a dual-sport athlete from Bismarck, N.D., comes in as the 13th-best prospect in the nation according to ProspectsNation.com and the third-best post player in the nation by ESPN.com. The 6-5 forward was named the 2017-18 and 2018-19 Gatorade Player of the Year in the state of North Dakota and averaged 17.3 points, 11.1 rebounds, 4.6 blocks and 2.1 assists per game while leading Century HS to a Class A NDHSAA State Championship during her junior season. Ware is also a standout volleyball player and will be a part of the Arizona Volleyball program. She rated as the No. 50 prospect in the country by Prep Volleyball and was the 2018-19 Gatorade Player of the Year.
