Steve Voltz joins the Arizona Soccer staff in 2026, bringing more than two decades of collegiate coaching experience across the men's and women's game. Most recently, he spent five seasons as head coach at Louisiana Tech, leading the Bulldogs to consecutive Conference USA Tournament appearances and a Conference USA semifinal berth in 2023.
Prior to Louisiana Tech, Voltz spent eight seasons at Millsaps College, including six years as head coach of the men's program. He guided the Majors to two Southern Athletic Association regular-season championships, a conference tournament title, and the first NCAA Tournament appearance in program history.
Throughout his coaching career, Voltz has held positions at Tusculum, Huntingdon College, and Slippery Rock, helping develop numerous all-conference, all-region, and All-America student-athletes. He also brings extensive recruiting and player development experience through his work with the Mississippi, Tennessee, and Alabama Olympic Development Programs.
A native of Offenbach, Germany, Voltz earned both his bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Florida and holds multiple coaching certifications through United Soccer Coaches and the United States Soccer Federation.
