As a Freshman (2019)
- Set the Arizona freshman record for digs (378)
- Finished ninth in the Pac-12 and first amongst conference freshmen, averaging 3.53 digs/set
- Was named Pac-12 Freshman of the Week in back-to-back weeks in weeks 12 and 13, becoming the first Wildcat in school history to receive back-to-back weekly conference awards and the first Arizona freshman to earn Pac-12 Freshman of the Week since Penina Snuka in 2013
- Set the Arizona freshman record with 29 digs at Oregon State (11/17), 11th most digs in a match in school history
- Started the season as UA’s libero, Arizona’s first freshman to start at libero in a season opener in school history
- A hamstring injury suffered Sept. 28 at USC kept her out two matches, and upon returning, Hiapo was forced to play outside hitter due to injuries
- Amassed 19 kills during her eight-match stint at outside hitter
- Returned to libero for the final six matches of the season and finished the season strong, with six straight double-digit-dig efforts, three of which were over 20 digs
- Led the team with 19 double-digit-dig matches, including a team-most five 20-plus dig efforts
- Led the team in digs in 16 matches, including each of the last six matches of the year
- Averaged 0.13 aces/set and had a season-best two vs. Morehead State (9/24)

- The nation’s No. 76 prospect (Prep Volleyball)
- A three-time all-state performer, including the Arizona Player of the Year as a senior
- A two-time all-region performer and 2018 Region Player of the Year
- Was an outside hitter in high school and totaled 847 kills (7.2/set), 49 aces, 511 digs (4.3/set) as a senior, when she led the team to a state-tournament appearance and a second-place finish in the league
- Competed for Molten 18 Black in club ball, a 2018 All-USA team
- Placed fifth at the 18 Open AAU National Championships
Personal
- Born Oct. 5, 2000 to Brian and Venese Hiapo in Las Vegas, New Mexico
- Is the youngest of five siblings; has one brother (BJ) and three sisters (Kiana, Kahealani and Kanani)
- Plans to major in care, health and society at Arizona and hopes to go into physical therapy or athletic training
- In her free time, enjoys spending time with family
- Chose Arizona over UCLA, Cal State Fullerton, BYU and Idaho State because it’s “close to home, great coaching staff with a lot of knowledge and care for me and the amazing team.”
