TUCSON, Ariz. - Tarquin MacManus followed a first round 67 (-4) with a 76 (+5) in the second to drop him to 22nd place at the Western Refining College All-America Classic.
MacManus' 67 was his lowest of the season; the 76 tied his worst round of the season. The junior was tied for sixth following the first round. MacManus carded a 143 (+1) on the day, and is 12 strokes off the lead.
Dustin Garza of Wichita State leads the tournament at eleven under. He shot a 64 (-7) in the first round, the day's best round. Alabama's Hunter Hamrick and Oklahoma St.'s Morgan Hoffmann are tied for second at nine under.
The Pac 10 and SEC each have eight players in the 32 golfer field, which led all other conferences. The SEC has four golfers in the top ten to the Pac 10's one. The lone Pac 10 golfer in the top ten is Washington's Nick Taylor, who is tied for fourth.
