SAN DIEGO, Calif.--- Junior Matt Dunn and freshman Romain Boudaroua each picked up main draw victories for Arizona, Friday at the Aztec Tennis Center on the opening day of the San Diego State Fall Invitational.

Dunn easily defeated San Diego's Kona Luu in straight sets, 6-3, 6-4 to advance to main draw second round action, before falling to USD's Alex Arouzos later in the afternoon.

Boudaroua picked up an impressive straight-set victory in his opening match, defeating Arjun Bal 6-1, 6-3, before dropping a three-set heartbreaker to UCSD's Eric Tseng, 3-6, 6-4, 7-6, landing him just inches away from a quarterfinal appearance.

Senior Robin Chou also had himself a nice day, as he rebounded to easily defeat USD's Patrick Hall 6-2, 6-0 after falling in his first match of the day.

Action will continue from San Diego tomorrow morning, beginning with doubles play.
