TUCSON, Ariz.--- Members of the University of Arizona Men's Tennis team wrapped up their second day of competition at the Jack Kramer Club Invitational and the Lakewood Ranch Clay Court Classic on Saturday.
Junior Naoki Takeda put on a gritty performance at the Jack Kramer Invitational, but saw his main draw run come to an end, dropping a 6-2, 6-2 decision to SMU's Nathaniel Lammons.
At the Lakewood Ranch Clay Court Classic, junior Jason Jaruvang dropped a tightly contested affair to top-seeded Zack McCourt of Princeton 3-6, 6-2, 6-3 in quarterfinal action.
Freshmen David Mushayev came close, but couldn't quite handle Princeton's Thomas Colautti, as he fell 7-5, 6-3.
