FULLERTON, Calif. – Head coach Sean Miller and the No. 11/10 Arizona Wildcats will face the Providence Friars in the second day of the 2015 DirecTV Wooden Legacy at 9:30 p.m. (MST) on ESPN2 on Friday evening. UA defeated Santa Clara 75-73 in overtime on Thanksgiving.

- Arizona and Providence will meet for the first time since the Elite Eight of the 1997 NCAA Tournament that saw the Wildcats win 96-92 in overtime. UA went on to defeat North Carolina and Kentucky en route to a national championship.
- The Wildcats enter the second day of the 2015 Wooden Legacy with a record of 35-5 (.875) in the month of November under head coach Sean Miller (2009 to present).
- Parker Jackson-Cartwright enters the Providence game after recording 13 assists to just one turnover in his previous two games, wins over Northwestern State and Santa Clara. The sophomore has tallied six or more assists in three of his first five games this season.
- UA's overtime win over Santa Clara on Thursday night gave head coach Sean Miller his 168th win at Arizona, which is good for sole possession of third place in coaching wins at Arizona. Miller trails only Lute Olson (589 wins) and Fred Enke (509) wins after passing Fred Snowden (167 wins).
- Mark Tollefsen (.563) is second on the team to Kaleb Tarczewski (.577) in field goal percentage for the season. However, Tollefsen's is shooting a scorching 14 of 17 (.824) inside the arc through five games.
- It will be a homecoming for the Thanksgiving holidays for a majority of the Arizona roster during the Wooden Legacy. Ten members of the UA roster are from the state of California with seven Wildcats growing up within 60 miles of the Anaheim area.
