TUCSON, Ariz. - Four individual Arizona Wildcats completed the final round of the Red Rocks Invitational on Saturday. Senior
Andrea Vilarasau finished best for the Wildcats in a tie for sixth place with rounds of 74 and 73 to finish at three over overall.
Freshman
Krystal Quihuis locked in another top finish with a tie for 11th place. She had rounds of 76 and 74 to finish at 150 (+6) and seal her third straight top-15 finish.
With rounds of 74 (+2) and 80 (+8), freshman
Natalia Forero finished in a tie for 37th place at 154 (+10). Sophomore
Jessica Vasilic tied for 67th place at 158 (+14) with rounds of 80 and 78.
Sophomore
Wanasa Zhou finished the second round of the Symetra Tour's Volvik Championship with a 73 (+1) to move to 145 (+1) overall and make the cut to the final round. She will tee off at 9:00 a.m. PST/10 a.m. MST on Sunday. Maude-Aimee Leblanc of Canada currently leads at 136 (-8).
Arizona will next compete as a team when they defend their title at the SunTrust Gator Invitational in Gainesville, Fla. on March 6-8.
