Gulf Shores, Ala.- Arizona's Madi Kingdon and Kaitlyn Leary were named the 2015 AVCA Sand Volleyball All Americans. The duo, along with the twins McKenna and Madison Witt competed in pool play Friday and Saturday and sweet 16 pairs championships on Sunday in Gulf Shores, Ala., for the first time in program history.

On Sunday the Witt sisters took on Pepperdine's Kellie Woolever and Kelley Larsen but fell to the duo (16-21,10-21). The Witts have a record of (28-6) for the overall season.

Kingdon and Leary advanced to the final four after defeating FIU and Pepperdine. In their first match Kingdon and Leary defeated FIU'S Maryna Samoday and Anja Licka taking it to three sets (21-12,16-21, 15-13).  After facing Pepperdine the duo dominated the sand to get a victory over Pepperdine's Woolever and Larsen taking it to three sets (21-17, 15-21, 15-7).

The duo advanced to the final four where they took on No. 1 USC. The Wildcat's senior pair fell to the Trojans Kelly Claes and Sara Hughes (14-21, 17-21).

The senior tandem helped improve their overall record to a (26-4) for the season.

The four players performance at the AVCA Sand Pairs Championships marks the end of the 2015 season for Arizona Sand Volleyball.
