2015-16 Season Recap
The women finished the season, 6-4, finishing fourth at the Pac-12 Championships (1,125) and 12th at the NCAA Championships (120).
The men took fourth at the Pac-12 Championships (569) with two relay titles (200 free relay, 200 medley relay). They also finished 16th at the NCAA Championships (87) and closed out the regular season, 2-4.
History versus NAU
Arizona women's swimming and diving faced NAU last season at Hillenbrand Aquatic Center. The Cats defeated the Lumberjacks, 195-96, in a quad-meet also including Oregon State and New Mexico State. The women tallied a total of 14 wins between individual events, relays and diving.
History versus Hawai'i
The last time the women competed against Hawai'i was in 2012, winning the meet, 229-114. The men's team also faced Hawai'i the same year, taking the meet with a score of 204-140.
Arizona's Ranked Freshmen
Arizona has nine newcomers for the women and ten for the men. Of the freshman swimmers, all five women and five of the seven men are ranked recruits by CollegeSwimming.com:

Annie Ochitwa
Sophomore
Annie Ochitwa broke a National Age Group Record (17-18) and school record in the 100 fly as a freshman (51.02). The record-breaking performance came at the NCAA Championships where Ochitwa finished first in the B final of the event. The sophomore earned three-time All-America honors and CSCAA Scholar All-America honors last season.
Justin Wright
Junior
Justin Wright broke a long-standing school record in the 200 fly with 1:41.76. Wright first broke the record in a time trial on day one of the Pac-12 Championships with 1:41.77, then re-broke his own record on the final day after finishing runner-up behind California by two-tenths of a second. At the NCAA Championships, he took third in the B final of the 200 fly to earn All-America honorable mention honors (1:42.77).
