Her mother is the Athletic Director at her high school as well as the head basketball coach. She is a very physically talented young lady and one of the top javelin throwers in the U.S. She is an excellent student and is looking for the next challenge as she is looking at the Eller School of Business. Kaelyn is the type of quality individual that we are looking to add to our throws program. She is one of the top athletes in her event, but she is very humble and a true student-athlete. Kaelyn is someone who helps us immediately, and makes us better in multiple aspects."

"Jordan Geist is one of the best high school throwers in U.S History," Harvey said. "He is from a very small town in Western Pennsylvania. Jordan has a focus and work ethic to match his talent. He also has a very clear goal to become an athletic director once he is done with his throwing future. Jordan is coached by his mother, and is a member of a regional club. He lifts in his basement and trains in an unheated empty warehouse during the winter. This young man is exactly who we need and who we want to add to our great squad and immense history in the men's throws."
