TUCSON, Ariz. – The University of Arizona men's golf team competed the second round of The Goodwin at the Stanford University Golf Course in Palo Alto, Calif. The team notched a 299 (+19) in the second round to give them a total score of 592 (+32) tied for 22nd place. Senior Kolton Lapa notched a 71 (+1) in the second day of the competition to give him an overall score of 148 (+8). The senior notched to of his four birdies in the second day of play. Lapa is currently tied for 81st place
Sophomore Jordan Gumberg and redshirt freshman Andrew Garner are tied for 37th place with a score of 148 (+4) after two rounds of play. Gumberg notched a 73 (+3) off three birdies. Garner carded a 76 (+6) in day
Redshirt sophomore Jake Kreuz netted a 79 (+9) in the second round to give him a score of 156 (+16) to finish him tied for 128th after two days of play. Sophomore Max Donohue shot a 91 (+21) to give him a score of 172 (+32) to finish him in 138th place.
The Wildcats tee off tomorrow at 8 a.m. MST.
